Chapter 1733: This boutique's clothes were so expensive that even Zora could only afford one piece a month at most. The idea of Virginia shopping here was downright laughable.
Virginia instinctively darted a glance at Harlee, who remained sprawled on the sofa, idly engrossed in a gon her phone. Drawing in a steady breath, Virginia squared her shoulders and leveled a cold stare at Zora.
"Whether I have money or not is none of your concern. And quit callinga broke girl. Tell me, Zora, aside from the luck of being born into a better family, what makes you better than me?" Zora's face flushed with rage at Virginia's sharp retort. Her hand shot up, poised to slap Virginia across the face, but before she could move, Hazel swiftly intervened, grabbing her wrist.

Taking a deep, controlled breath, Zora managed to mask her fury with a cold, mocking smile.
"Sure, it's not my business. But it certainly matters to these sales associates. You've had them running all over the store fetching clothes for you, yet you're not even buying anything. Seems toyou are just wasting their time." Virginia's cheeks flushed with embarrassment under Zora's scathing words and then drained to pale as shcrept in. Just then, a reassuring voice cfrom behind Virginia, gentle yet firm, cutting through her anxiety.
"You're so noisy." ŁAT€$T ¢ħAPE€Ř$ in glovεl☐☐☐ Harlee lazily lifted her eyelids, her gaze coldly sweeping over Zora and Hazel, who had caused the commotion. "Virginia hasn't even finished trying on the clothes she likes. How can you be so sure she won't buy them?" Startled by Harlee's commanding presence, Zora panicked, fearing she had offended sbig shot. She glanced at Harlee's clothes and accessories, checking for price tags. Finding none, she breathed a sigh of relief. Assuming Harlee's attire was inexpensive, Zora thought she was just bluffing and foolishly defending Virginia, fueling her desire to humiliate them and have them ousted.
With a sneer, Zora challenged, "Is there even a need to wait? Look at Virginia. She can't afford anything here. If she could, I'd kneel down and apologize!" At this, Harlee clicked her tongue disapprovingly and walked to Virginia's side, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Did you hear that? I can't wait to see her do just that.” Harlee then casually closed the gon her phone and transferred a million dollars to Virginia's account. "Go ahead and buy the outfit you're trying on. Then try on these two outfits as well." Virginia was overwhelmed, barely processing the transaction notification on her phone amidst her disbelief. Mechanically, she managed to pay, her movements automatic, her mind a whirl. She barely registered the "payment successful" confirmation.
Zora's eyes bulged in shock. She couldn't fathom that someone she deemed indigent could afford such expensive clothing.

Zora hissed, "This must be fake! Check it. There's no way she could afford that!" Amid Zora's ongoing protests, Virginia regained her Enr composure and displayed the confirmation of successful payment.
Putting on a calm facade, she retorted, "Zora, see for yourself!"
Hazel's expression soured momentarily. Disbelief clung to herfeatures as she refused to accept that her less affluent cousin could possess such a sum. Her gaze turned even icier. "It's tto fulfill your promise," Harlee interjected unexpectedly.
Hearing this, Hazel masked her agitation and attempted to smooth things over.
"Virginia, Zora was just joking around. She was only concerned you might get embarrassed fox not being able to afford the outfit and be asked to leave. You're not really upset, are you?"
