When the servant pushed a door open, Rosalie was shocked to see someone kneeling on the ground.
It was Laila! Laila was tied up with a rope and severely injured, but she was still alive. The moment she saw Rosalie, she screamed in agitation, "Rose, save me! Save me!" The servant said, clearly frightened, "Mrs. Carter, there was a note found on her." The servant handed the note to Rosalie.
Rosalie saw the words written on it. 'A gift for you.' "Mrs. Carter, should we call the police?" "No need. Leave us." There was no point calling the police. Whoever did this vanished without a trace after blatantly throwing Laila here, and no one found him out.

"She's my aunt. I'm bringing her to the hospital," Rosalie said.
She had to figure out what was going on.
Was Laila telling the truth? Was she really adopted by her parents? If so, who were her biological parents? "Alright. I'll drive you two there." Yvonne had to stay by Rosalie's side, or she wouldn't feel safe.
Rosalie and Laila went to the hospital and did a DNA test.
They had to wait for seven days for the result.
Laila was grievously injured, and had to be hospitalized for a couple of days. Rosalie arranged for bodyguards to keep watch over her in her ward. "Rose, why did you do a DNA test with her? What happened?" Yvonne asked doubtfully.
"She said that I'm not my parents' biological child. I don't believe her so I did the DNA test with her. If really am not my parents' biological child, I won't be related to her by blood." Yvonne was shocked to hear Rosalie's explanation. She knew about Rosalie's background, but she never told Rosalie about it.

I'm just a little taken aback by what you said. If the results indicate that you're really not your parents' biological child, what will you do? Will you try searching for your biological parents?' "I don't know. If I really am not my parents' biological child, where would my biological parents be? I don't even know who they are. How am I going to begin finding them?" Rosalie said.
She turned around, and looked in the direction of Laila's ward. "She said that she has seen my mother before. Perhaps I'll be able to find clues from her." Rosalie's knees suddenly gave way.
Yvonne hurriedly held Rosalie up. "What's wrong?" Rosalie supported her back with her hands. "My back hurts." "Your back hurts? I'll take you for a check-up." Rosalie nodded. Since it concerned the baby, she had to see a doctor about it.
After Yvonne accompanied Rosalie for a check-up, the doctor leakedn through the report with furrowed brows. Seeing his solemn expression, Rosalie asked anxiously, "Doctor, what's the matter? Is my baby alright?"
The doctor said, "Your cervical length is only 2.5 centimeters, which is shorter than usual. The fetūs? е m heartbeat isn't stable, either. We need to do further tests." "What kind of tests do I need to do?" Rosalie asked nervously. The doctor said, "We'll first assess your cervical@ength and conduct cervical screening. We have to thoroughly understand the current
state of your cervix. If the test results indicate that you require furtherm treatment, you'll have to undergo amniocentesis and monitor the fetus condition." X
