"Charlie, you got a 75? Not bad at all!" Charlie's cousin exclaimed with joy, spotting his non the list.
Charlie felt a rush of excitement too. Although the score wasn't stellar, it was quite an achievement for him. Given the test's difficulty, combined with the curve grading and competitive scoring, many had only managed scores in the sixties. Scoring in the seventies was considered above average.
"An 81, pretty decent," his cousin remarked a few seconds later, noticing his own score and clicking his tongue. An 81 was about par for him.
However- Curiosity got the better of him as he glanced over at Flora. Her score hadn't appeared yet. Those scoring above 80 had already been listed, but Flora's nwas still missing.

"Ha! I think so too. You're definitely a shoo-in for the National Medical School," another chimed in.
"Our Flora is all about keeping a low profile. Even when she aces it, she wouldn't brag, unlike swho can't even pass and still mock others," they said, taking a jab while congratulating Flora.
The man who scored 53: "..." He felt like someone had stabbed him in the chest! Flora, being the national top scorer and a winner in medical competitions, scoring above 80 was expected. That was the level she was supposed to be at. If she couldn't even hit eighty, like she modestly suggested, that would have been a real letdown. Everyone guessed Flora's score would be between 80 and 90.
But- Still no sign.
Her nhadn't appeared yet.
With only a few scoring above 80, the list quickly moved on to those scoring above 90. Flora's nhadn't shown up yet, indicating her score was definitely above ninety.
"Flora, that's just too humble! Saying even 70 would be hard for you!" someone exclaimed.
"I'm in tears. I'm a whole cycle older and only scored 81. It's true what they say; the new waves are stronger, crashing the old ones onto the shore," another added.
Now, everyone's view of Flora had shifted. Scoring above ninety in such a challenging test was a testament to her strength. Truly the national topper and a victor in medical challenges. "Selene! 97 points!" A gasp of astonishment burst forth! From 80 upwards, the electronic display had stopped scrolling, showcasing names in bold, and everyone saw the npop up in huge letters! Selene.

Rank- Second place! Everyone drew a sharp breath! With a perfect score being 100, scoring 97 was almost inhuman! "Wait, didn't Selene already join a medical organization? Why is she taking the exam for the National Medical School?" someone asked, curiosity piqued.
"Oh, you don't know? Apparently, Selene did something and got kicked out of the medical organization. It happened just a while ago, and I heard she was treated pretty badly," someone explained.
"No way. Kicked out by the medical organization and then coming to our Austenberg Medidar school? Does she see us as a refuge?" another questioned. "Exactly. Once they achieve something, they can't wait to leave
their homeland. And when they're cast out like a dog, they cm crawling back here, thinking pretty highly of themselves," yet another added.
"Shut it, will you? As if the medical organization wants any of you. You're just jealous. Regardless of what you think of her, she scored a 97! you can't match that, just zip it!" someone retorted. X
