However, Flora's nwas nowhere to be found in the next twenty names. Abbey furrowed her brow but didn't think too much of it and kept scrolling. She went through another thirty names and still didn't see Flora. Her expression grew more serious. Could Flora really be that lucky? Randomly filling in answers and getting so many right? Abbey continued scrolling, another thirty names down, and still no Flora. Her brows knit tighter, and her grip on the mouse becfirmer. She had a sinking feeling something was off.
"This year's contestants are amazing; someone even got a perfect score!" exclaimed another staff member sitting across from her, also tallying scores.
"Someone got a perfect score? Letsee!" The staff member who had given Abbey his seat quickly walked over, only to get pushed aside by someone else.
The moment Abbey heard about the perfect score, her eyelids twitched violently. She jumped up and walked to the other side.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Who scored a perfect 100?" "Letcheck... It's from Team Austenberg, someone named Flora. That nsounds familiar. Isn't she the one who fell asleep during the exam? She..." The staff member's voice trailed off as he noticed the fierce look in Abbey's eyes. "Miss, how could Flora possibly score 100?" Elijah was in complete disbelief.
Wasn't Flora the one who dozed off for over an hour and then randomly filled in the answers during the last half- hour? How could she get a perfect score?! Abbey braced herself on the table, eyes glued to the screen. All the scores had been tallied and the rankings finalized. First place, Flora, 100 points. Second place, Joy, 91 points. Third place, Selene, 90 points.
She stared at Flora's nfor a long tbefore letting out a cold laugh. Full marks or not, wasn't it up to her to decide? Flora could only get a perfect score if Abbey wanted her to.
At 2 p.m., over a hundred teams waited anxiously in the inner field for the scores to be announced. On Team Austenberg's side, Mr. Tanner was sweating bullets. He still had shope for Flora, wishing-she hadn't done too poorly so they might still have a shot at advancing to the next round.
Debra, Joy, and the others were also extremely nervous, but Flora and Selene were the calmest of the bunch. They sat in their chairs, looking utterly indifferent.
Ha! Of course, Flora didn't need to care. She had randomly filled in her answers, so why worry about the scores? "The results are out! The results are out!" An excited voice echoed through the inner field as the four giant electronic screens lit up. Everyone immediately looked up.
The scores were displayed by teams, not in any particular order. First, they showed each individual's score within the team, followed by the team's total score and ranking.
The first to be displayed were the scores of the medical organization. Orla, 86 points, overall ranking, 5th place. Hao Lu, 84 points, overall ranking, 8th place. Cindy, 81 points, overall ranking, 10th place.
vel Teams from various countries watched the flickering large screen and gasped. True to form, the medical Organization was impressive, with three people making it into the top ten. They figured the team's overall ranking would also be first place.
Mr. Atticus thought so too. But...

"In the past, the medical organization always took first place who could have beaten them this time?"
Everyone was buzzing with curiosity.
