Selene's voice was extremely loud and the corridor was empty, so Vicky heard every word she said.

Harvey narrowed his eyes in disgust and said, "I'll be right over." He ended the call without a warning.

"Is today the day for Gloria to undergo surgery?" Vicky asked.

"I'll come along with you to check on her, then," she said.

The two went into the elevator and reached the floor where Gloria’s room was located. They knocked on the door
