Half an hour later, Vicky brought supper to the dining room where Tyler was waiting after he changed his clothes.
She set the food on the table and sat on a chair across from Tyler.
Tyler picked up a spoon elegantly. Marveled by how majestic his every move was, she made a mental note to
herself that this might be the reason why all women threw themselves at him.
She stared at him and said, "Do you know that Gloria is missing?"
He paused and looked up at Vicky. "Missing?"
"Have you not gone to see her today?"
"No," he said. "My schedule is packed today, so I didn't have time forthat."
She observed his expression. "Is that why you stayed in the hospital with her all night yesterday?"

Vicky had seen the surveillance footage of the hospital and knew that Tyler left the hospital half an hour after Vicky
left. Still, she had to ask about it as it would be odd for a wife to not ask any questions when her husband did not
return home.
"So, do you know where Gloria is?"
"I don't."
"Are you not going to search for her?"
He lifted his gaze. "Why should I?"
"She is missing."
"Was she kidnapped?"

"If she was kidnapped, someone would’ve called and informed me."
Vicky instantly knew that Tyler was referring to Selene.
"Even if she was kidnapped, there's no point in acting before I'm informed," he continued calmly. "Also...if she wants
to be alone, why would I bother her?"
"Are you so certain she only left to be alone?" she asked.
"Is that not the case?"
Vicky looked into his eyes. "She tried to tell me something last night, and you stopped her. Today, she went missing.
Isn't that strange?"
He met her eyes. "Are you trying to say that I took Gloria away?"
"That's possible."
"What do you think she was going to tell you?"
