Chapter 492
Charlie sat in his office. After Eugene went out, he kept thinking about things.
Eugene said that he had no relationship with Theresa, which made him feel a little better.
Otherwise, he would be mad if Eugene did have children with Theresa.
On top of that, he and Eugene knew each other.
However, Eugene’s words made him think twice. Eugene had just said that Theresa and Cristina had been friends
for a long time…

Didn’t they meet only because of Leonard and Ben?
How come they had been friends for a long time?
Could it be that they had known each other before that?
But when Cristina came over for dinner, she didn’t look familiar with Theresa at all.

Jonathan walked in. “Mr. Calsis.”

Jonathan said, “No, I don’t think so. But maybe because Mrs. Calsis is nice to Leonard and Ben, she’s been getting
close to Cristina lately.”

However, the two women who weren’t so close went out for drinks alone in private.
It was actually not a big deal!
But for some reason, Charlie just found it weird.
He remembered that when he was with Theresa a long time ago, she received a phone call from someone who was
called Crisy.
He didn’t believe it could be that coincidental.
But then Theresa said that the caller was her friend, denying that it was Cristina.
She lied to him?
These two women had been lying to him all along!
However, he didn’t know why they had to hide their relationship.
Charlie looked at Jonathan. “Find out Theresa’s relationship with Cristina and see if they knew
each other before.”
Jonathan heard Charlie’s words and said, “Okay.”
Theresa went back to the Cameron family after getting out of Eugene’s place.
When she arrived, Sarah was still home. She was working at the office now, but sometimes she went late.
It was getting colder and she liked to stay in bed.
Moreover, she had managed the company well lately, so no one would say anything about it.
She was sitting there to change her shoes and getting ready to go out when she saw Theresa
walk in.
Theresa stood in the foyer and looked over at Sarah.
Sarah said, “What are you doing here?”
“I heard you went to see Charlie.” Theresa was curious to see what reaction Sarah would have
now.
Sarah didn’t show any sign of sheepishness when she heard this.
She said, “Yes! Why? I can’t go to him? I wanted to find an endorser from his company. It’s for business. Alas, I
don’t think a lady like you would understand how hard I work in the company every day.”

Theresa laughed. “Did you go there for the endorser or Charlie?”
“What’s wrong with me going to Charlie?” Sarah said lightly. “I’m not allowed to go to him? I’ve
known him for so long, and you are questioning me just because I’ve spoken to him. Do you really think you are
Mrs. Calsis? You’re even trying to interfere with Charlie’s affairs!”
Sarah said, “Charlie doesn’t like women who don’t know what they’re doing. If you take too much
control, you’ll only make him unhappy. I’m warning you! Don’t ask for trouble!”
Theresa said, “You don’t have to worry about whether he’s happy or not. I’m just wondering why you can be so
thick-skinned. Don’t you remember what you have done to Charlie before? How do you have the face to go to him
now?”
