“I mind. You think having a baby is a joke?” She looked over at him and said in a consultative tone, “Put Leonard
down, and he’ll hate you if you keep doing that. You two have a bad relationship already. Do you want to make it
worse? You weren’t around when he was born. Do you want to leave him with such an image as his father?”
“I prefer not to have him forget who his father is in the future. Don’t worry, I will take care of him and let him know
who is his father.”
Charlie had already made up his mind to get on well with Leonard.
Theresa looked at him, and for a moment she didn’t know how to refute him.

She was supposed to be their mom!
