Although Chandler had reminded him to get along with Dick, Charlie couldn’t repress his anger at all. As soon as
Charlie finished the words, Rawlins hurriedly stood in front of Dick in protection.
Instantly, the two groups were at daggers drawn.
Suddenly, Theresa opened the door and walked out. Seeing the two groups almost have a fight in her house, she
asked, “What are you doing?”
She knew they were sworn enemies and didn’t know what it would be like if they fought.

Rawlins looked at her with concern and asked, “Are you all right, Dr. Cameron?”
He knew Charlie had been looking for Theresa. Afraid she would get into trouble, Rawlins had sent his men to watch
her closely.
When he was informed Charlie had entered Theresa’s house, Rawlins immediately joined the fun with
Dick.

Rawlins explained, “We don’t want to do anything or make trouble, Dr. Cameron. We’re here to stop him from
bullying you. If you feel aggrieved, we’ll help you. If not mistaken, Mr. Calsis has intruded on your property.”
Theresa said to him, “Please go home.”
Dick said, “If Mr. Calsis leaves, I will. If not, I don’t mind staying here. The holiday is coming. Everyone is
off work. I have plenty of time.”
Jonathan looked over at Charlie. “Mr. Calsis?”
Charlie watched them in silence. He finally realized Dick respected Theresa very much, which had never happened
before.
Theresa said to Charlie, “I’ve thought it over. If you want the children, I’ll call the police and file a lawsuit. If the
judge lets you take the children, I won’t have any objection. Before that, please never do the same thing as today.”
Charlie gazed at her. “Are you
serious?”
He didn’t expect her to mention filing a lawsuit, wondering if she was crazy.
Jonathan said to Theresa, “Mr. Calsis didn’t call the police as he was concerned about you.”
“No, I don’t need his concern,” Theresa refused. “Now, you all, go out! Lenard and Ben have been frightened. Can
you leave them in peace?”
Charlie looked at Dick. If the latter didn’t leave, he wouldn’t either.
He was worried about his sons’ safety.
Theresa read his mind. “Mr. White, does it work?” she asked.
Dick answered, “It works for me.”
Then she looked at Charlie. Since Dick agreed, Charlie couldn’t refuse. Or others would think he made
trouble purposely.
He also had a sense of guilt.
Charlie glanced at Theresa and Dick, who was protective of her and almost fought with him.
The two men had become foes in recent years. They secretly fought against each other. This was the first time they
almost got involved in a fight aboveboard.

Dick also glanced at her, stood up, and left.
Rawlins nodded at Theresa as a goodbye, stood up, and was about to leave.
Theresa stopped him, “Wait, Rawlins.”
Rawlins asked, “Yes, Dr. Cameron?”
Theresa glanced at Leah in the corner and said in an entreating voice, “This is my stepmother. Can you
give her a ride home, please? Thank you.”
Leah was tongue-tied.
Rawlins immediately understood what Theresa implied. “I see. No problem.”
Then he looked at Leah and said, “This way, please.”

Leah was afraid of Dick and his men. Earlier, Sarah had told her how horrible they were. After seeing them in
person, Leah had to admit she was correct.
Since Rawlins let her leave, she couldn’t do anything but follow his order.
