Charlie was annoyed by her. "You must pay the price for your provocation."
Arching an eyebrow, Theresa asked, "What are you doing now?"
They almost clung to each other, and the short distance upset Theresa.
Charlie asked, 'You are with Dick White now. Can he satisfy you?"
His words made Theresa scowl at him.
She used to love Charlie, but he slandered her to be with another man. She felt frustrated.
Charlie knew she was the boys' birth mother and had no affair with another man. However, he deliberately
humiliated her this way.
The sorrow spreading in her chest made her laugh. Theresa told herself not to be upset as Charlie didn't deserve it.
She shouldn’t have had hope for him.
Theresa answered, "Well, his skills are much better than yours, Mr. Calsis.

'You!" Charlie gazed at her but couldn't win against her verbally.
She could always render him wordless and anger him.
Theresa pressed her index finger on his lips. "Don't be mad. Or it only means I've hit your raw nerves. I didn't mean
to do it."
When she finished speaking, Charlie lowered his head to bite her finger.
Frowning at him, Theresa snapped, "It hurts!"
"Of course." Charlie stared at her. "I've contacted a lawyer. You have no chance to win against me in the lawsuit. If
you are sensible, let me take the boys back."
"If I were sensible, I wouldn't have led such a life." She looked into his eyes. "Mr. Calsis, you were wrong about me."
"I was, indeed." Looking at her, he said, "We could have been a happy couple, but you insisted on disappointing me.
You are a liar! You always lied to me."
"Exactly!" Theresa retorted, "I am a lair. You all are victims. OK? Jimmy Watson and you are both victims. I'm the
only evil one.”
She knew that was his prejudice against her, so she didn’t have the mood to explain it.
Theresa added, "I need to go home. Mr. Calsis, if there's nothing else, please excuse me."
Scowling at her, Charlie passed the lunchbox from his mother to her. "Take it."
"What's this?" Theresa asked.
"My mother asked me to bring it here," Charlie answered, "For my sons."
Theresa accepted it as it was prepared by Leticia.
Charlie, however, didn't loosen his hand.
Taking the chance, he gazed at Theresa and warned her, "Since the boys are in your house and you don't want to
send them home, I don't have the mood to fight with you. Remember. If something happens to them, I won't let go
of you."
Theresa darted at him, pulled the lunchbox over, and exited the car.
After entering her house, she opened the lunch box and found the food had gone cold.

"Has Charlie sent you a lunchbox?"
'Yes, he did."
Leticia explained, "It's a soup I cooked for the boys. Don't forget to let them have some."

Leticia asked, "By the way, Theresa, do you plan to take the boys back for a gathering? Let's celebrate the holiday
together, shall we? Or you’ll be alone outside. We also want Leonard and Ben to be here."
"No, thanks," Theresa refused. "Have a good time. I won't go there."
She wouldn't let her sons return to that house, either.
"Did Charlie anger you again?" Leticia asked worriedly.
Theresa answered, "Mrs. Calsis, I’ll never remarry Charlie. Please stop sending him over. Or you'll make him
misunderstand I still haven't given up on him.
Honestly, I feel bothered." 'Did Charlie say so?" Leticia burst into anger. "Theresa, don’t worry. I'll teach him a
lesson after he returns home."
