Theresa lowered her head and said. “He said I have a good chance and I trust him. Otherwise, I really don’t know

Theresa frowned at Roderick’s words and said, “My relationship with Dick is not what you think it is.”
“What I think it is?” Roderick looked at her curiously.
Theresa put on a faint smile. “You think I’m using his dislike for Charlie to get close to him, don’t you? You’re
afraid that he’s going to take advantage of me. I’m telling you, he and I are not like that.”
