Jimmy was sure that these kids would never be cute as long as they had something to do with Theresa!
He hadn’t dared to scold them when they were at Charlie’s before. Now that Theresa had divorced Charlie, he
wasn’t afraid to teach them a lesson.
Hearing that, Roderick could not help but speak up for Leonard and Ben. “I have been watching them. It’s no big
deal. Leonard and Ben did not do anything wrong.”
Jimmy looked at Roderick and said sardonically, “You’re a friend of Charlie’s. Dr. Hill. Of course, you’ll defend his
kids. However, Jake is my sister’s son and the apple of her eye. He is the only child in the family. Don’t you think
it’s too much to bully him like that?”
Roderick retorted when he heard what Jimmy said. “If you could say such things, it is not surprising that the boy
would be like this. You shouldn’t have spoiled him so much if you love him.”
“So, you’re spoiling the two kids?”
Jimmy retorted straight away.
Roderick said, “I remember that you were a gentleman, Mr. Watson. Why are you so unreasonable now? What
does Rose see in you?”

“What’s wrong?” Rose came over to see Jimmy and Roderick both talking with some anger. She turned to Jake,
who took the opportunity to complain, “Auntie Rose, they bullied me!”
With that, he pointed at Leonard and Ben.
Rose said, “Did you bully Jake, Leonard, and Ben? You mustn’t do that. Speaking of which, he has to call you
uncles.”
Rose was Leonard and Ben’s cousin while she was Jake’s aunt.
