Rose froze for a moment and instantly told herself to calm down. She said, “Well, I know you’re angry. You don’t like
what Roderick said, right? It’s okay if you don’t want Jake to call them uncles! I shouldn’t have done that today.”
Jimmy didn’t say anything.
Rose said, “However, I was heartbroken when you wanted to divorce me because of such trivial matters. How could
you say something like that so easily if you really love me? Do you know how sad I am?”
Back then, all her family members told her to leave him.
For him, she gave up her nice and comfortable life and came to the Watson family.
In the Watson family, her life was naturally not as good as it used to be. Sometimes, she had to do
housework at home.
She believed that it was the right thing to do as long as the two of them loved each other.

Jimmy thought he had given much more than what he had gained. The more he thought about it now, the angrier

“What did you say?” Rose looked at Jimmy. She couldn’t believe that he was calling her a jinx.
She said to Jimmy, “You know I hate it when people say that about me. They all think my mother died. because of
me and that she wouldn’t have had the accident if she hadn’t rushed back for my birthday. You would never say
that about me before, and now you’re saying that?”
Jimmy said, “That’s because I didn’t know better before, but I do now!”
He was so angry that he had no qualms about talking to her like that.
Just as Jimmy finished his sentence, Rose raised her hand and slapped him across the face.
Looking at the man, she was so angry that her hand was trembling. “Jimmy, you are such a jerk!”
With that, she cried and ran away.
Jimmy coldly watched her leave instead of going after her.
He would surely try to coax her if she was still part of the Nandlall family. Now that her family had. disowned her, he
wasn’t afraid of her anymore.
He went back to the toy store and saw Jake looking at the toys there. Roderick had bought Leonard and Ben what
they wanted. The two kids weren’t greedy and the toys they wanted weren’t expensive. They
each chose just one and came out.
In contrast, Jake took more toys than he could hold. He wanted to take the whole store away!

Theresa looked at the door when she heard Jimmy’s words, but Rose wasn’t there.
Jimmy said, “It’s none of your business.”
With that, he left with Jake straight away.
Out of the toy store, Theresa and Cristina went to buy clothes for the two kids. Roderick looked around
and found Rose.
She was crouching in a corner alone, with no one to comfort her at all.
Roderick wasn’t stupid. He could tell from what happened today that Jimmy’s attitude toward Rose was much worse
than before.
He walked over and said, “Rose.”
