Hearing his voice, Rose hurriedly wiped away her tears.
Roderick squatted down. “You had a fight with Jimmy?”
“No.” Rose denied.
After leaving her family for Jimmy and marrying into his family, she didn’t want anyone to know about it when she
was aggrieved in the Watson family.
After all, it was her choice in the first place. They would only laugh at her if she had a bad time now! Roderick said,
“I’m going to the Calsis family later. Do you want to come with me?”
Rose said, “No.”

Roderick said, “I’m not coming back to your place, Theresa. I’m going to go to the Calsis family and I’ll see you guys
later!”
Theresa asked in a low voice, “Is she okay?”
Rose, who had sharp ears, heard Theresa’s words. She looked at Theresa with displeasure and said, “Of
course.”
Rose was annoyed when she heard Theresa speaking, thinking that Theresa was probably laughing at her secretly
right now!
Roderick took a look at Rose’s back and found that she was really hostile to Theresa.
He said to Theresa, “I’ll leave now. Be careful on your way back.”
Theresa nodded. “Okay.”
Roderick saw Chandler sitting on the couch when he took Rose back to the Calsis family.
Roderick was surprised. “You’re back, Chandler?”

He turned to Rose, his niece who had followed Roderick in, and said, “Hello, Rose.”
Rose hadn’t wanted to come to the Calsis family. She had been wondering as she came in what she should say
when she saw them.
She hadn’t expected to see Chandler first. “Hello, Uncle Chandler.”
Unlike the rest of the family, Rose always felt that she had been forced to leave the Calsis family. She thought they
were mean to Jimmy and that was why she had to leave.
Now, in this family, probably only Chandler had not forced her.

back?”
“Yesterday. What’s wrong?” Chandler said. “You’re looking upset.”
