Chapter 702
Cristina had seen some wounds and bruises on Eugene last time. She didn’t know how he had gotten. them back
then. From what Roderick had just said, she could tell that they all had something to do with this crazy old woman.
She could hardly imagine how Eugene had come through!
Ella looked at Cristina and said, “Good girl, keep your eyes open. Don’t fall in love with him. It won’t end
well!”
“What are you talking about?” Cristina looked at Ella in disbelief.
Any other mother would think that no girls were good enough for her son.
On the contrary, Ella was saying such things as if her son was some kind of trash.
Ella stood up to leave, but Cristina grabbed her hand and pulled her back. “Don’t you ever do that to him
again or I’ll teach you a lesson.”
Ella was no longer as calm as she had been when her hand was suddenly grabbed. She frantically pushed Cristina
away and her sharp nails left some bloody scratches on Cristina’s face as she struggled.

Theresa was startled and rushed over. “Cristina.”
She pulled Cristina away before she looked at Ella and said, “Mrs. Oneill.”
Ella turned to Theresa. “She is your friend?”

“Yes,” Theresa said.
Ella said, “Tell her to keep her nose out of my family’s business or I’ll do something terrible… I’m a lunatic!”
She meant that she would not be jailed for anything she did!

Just then, Roderick and Eugene walked in.
“Cristina!”

He turned to Ella and said, “Mom!”

Cristina just felt a sharp pain on her face.

Theresa saw Roderick come out and said, “Luckily, we have Dr. Hill here. Do you think the scratches will
leave scars, Dr. Hill?”
Roderick took a look at the scratches on Cristina’s face and said, “I’m not sure.”
