diamond, but with a broader smile on his face. Harvey realized Nicole was not someone whom he
could bribe with expensive things.
Nicole did not notice Harvey’s expression, as she was still looking at Chloe. “If you, as a public figure,
don’t want to embarrass yourself, apologize to Zeke immediately.”
Nicole’s words struck Chloe’s soft spot. Chloe looked at the diamond in Harvey’s hand and then at
Nicole’s spotless, beautiful face.
Chloe’s face contorted involuntarily. A strange thought came to her mind for a moment. She looked at
Harvey’s attitude and wondered if he and Nicole had some kind of indescribable relationship
