Chapter 334 Noelle was going to attend a gaming community dinner event, where many company sponsors were likely to be present. She planned to seize the opportunity to secure sponsorship for the base.
The previous day, at the competition venue, she had already declared that Team Yole would make it to the finals. She hoped this would catch the attention of visionary sponsors to step forward to invest.
Noelle went straight to Maple Enterprise after class. She entered the meeting room, where the tech team members were already gathered and chatting. But when they saw her, they abruptly stopped talking, and their expressions seemed off.

Isaac looked at her and said, "Haven't you heard? Someone in the legal circle warned the lawyers not to take on our case about the leaked proposal." Startled by the news, Noelle immediately suspected Donovan was behind it. But she didn't know he had such a significant influence in the legal field. Could it be that his fiancée was the one pulling the strings? After a moment of thought, Noelle replied, "No, I wasn't aware of it.' "Don't worry about it, Noelle. We just heard about it too. Mr. Parham will definitely take care of it." Now that everyone knew Noelle was the biological sister of the Liddell Corporation's president but had to leave the family and fend for herself during university because of her brothers' bias, they understood it hadn't been easy for her.
Noelle sat down, feeling a bit unsettled. If no lawyer would take the case, the company would undoubtedly lose if it went to court.
"Mr. Parham's here. Don't worry, Noelle. Everything will be fine." Noelle looked up and saw Alfred walking in first, with Cedric following behind. It suddenly dawned on her that Cedric had resigned and was now working here. She realized she would inevitably run into him at company meetings.
Cedric's gaze landed on Noelle's face, noticing she seemed a bit distracted.
"What's on your mind?" he texted her after sitting down.
Noelle's phone buzzed. Embarrassed, she quickly silenced it, only to see that it was a message from Cedric. She glanced at him and replied with a text, "Delete my photo." "Already deleted," he replied. Noelle studied him across from her, wondering if he honestly thought she would believe that.
Cedric put down his phone, meeting her gaze calmly, a faint smile curling at the corner of his mouth. Noelle's irritation grew at the sight of that smile-he clearly hadn't deleted it.

"Mr. Parham, I heard someone in the legal circle has threatened the lawyers not to take our case against Liddell Corporation. Is that true?" "What?" Alfred was a bit surprised, but it didn't seem to faze him. He replied with a faint smile, "I've already arranged a lawyer, so you can all rest reassured. Meeting dismissed." Cedric approached Noelle, who was the last to leave the meeting room. "Were you worried about that?"
"Of course," Noelle replied. "Donovan is ruthless when things stand in his way, He'll do anything to remove n obstacles." Alfred smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, Nelly. We'll win the lawsuit for sure." Cedric shifted the subject. "Have they decided who's going to take the fall for this?" After all, they had all heard Noelle's words the day before. Before Noelle could reply, her phone rang.
"Speaking of the devil," she said after glancing at the caller ID.
She answered the call and put it on speaker, "Mr. Liddell, what awonderful surprise. Xn guessing you've found a scapegoat to take all the blsince you're callingpersonally. Am I right?"
Donovan was caught off guard by her response and was left speechless! How dare she talk to him like that?
