Donovan's expression turned unpleasant as he saw the sanitary pads scattered on his desk. "What are you doing with these? Don't you feel embarrassed?" Noelle retorted, "What's so embarrassing about sanitary pads? You men don't seem embarrassed when you buy condoms." Donovan's face fell. "Stop making a scene! If you have something to say, do it at home. Can't you see I'm in a meeting?" Several executives were present in the room. One of them muttered, "Mr. Liddell, I'm not superstitious. But this seems like a bad omen." "Exactly. Back in my hometown, women are considered bad luck when they are on their period. They're not allowed in religious places due to this, too. And there are many taboos surrounding them. Otherwise, they bring misfortune to the men's household." "Mr. Liddell, your sister is too reckless. How can she just throw sanitary pads out in the open?" The murmurs only fueled Donovan's anger. He pointed at Noelle. "Get out! And take this stuff with you. Throw it away!" Noelle picked up a pack of sanitary pads and scoffed, "Haven't your mothers, wives, or any women in your family used these before? Have you never seen them?" "Of course they have, but no one waves them around in public!" "Yes, they should be kept hidden. It's bad luck if people see them." Noelle ripped open a pad, strode over, and slapped it straight onto one executive's mouth. "Well, you're doomed then. Your whole life is over." The executive yelled. "You bitch! You..." Two other executives quickly pulled him back. "Calm down! She's the Liddell family's youngest daughter." Noelle glanced at the two who had intervened. "Oh, I almost forgot about you guys." She slapped a pad onto each of their mouths as well. They paled as if she had just cursed them.

Noelle sneered. "Don't forget, the place where menstrual blood comes from is the splace you were born from. If you think periods are disgusting, then you are, too, since you cfrom the splace." The three executives were fuming, but they didn't dare retaliate.

Donovan rubbed his temples. "Everyone, leave." After all, this was a family matter. Noelle felt satisfied as the three executives left.

Donovan glanced at the sanitary pads scattered across the floor and sighed. "What do you want?" Noelle crossed her arms. "This whole mess with the sanitary pads was Xenia's fault. You need to fix it." Donovan observed the pads. "What's wrong with them?" Noelle huffed. "These are expired sanitary pads. Xenia was in charge of purchasing them. What do you think is wrong?" Noelle had been resisting the urge to crack Xenia's head open to see if it was filled with mush. How could anyone be so stupid and greedy? Donovan examined the packaging and saw that the expiration date had indeed passed.

After a moment of thought, he said, "I'll talk to her about it. I'll cover the cost for this batch. That should be enough, right?" Noelle crackled. "Do you think this is just about money?"

She had expected Donovan to clean. up Xenia's mess, so she continued, "I was invited to Laura's charity event today. However, the supplies donated by the Liddell famil out to be expired. How do you think that looks for us?"

"What?" Donovan's expression turned ugly. It was easy to replace expired supplies. But Noelle was implying that their reputation was damaged her cult momoxypored because of this. That was a different matter entirely. Noelle knew Donovan wouldn't care unless it affected the family's reputation.

"This situation with the expired sanitary pads needs to be handled properly, or word wix spread quickly. The Campbell family will hear about it, too. Xenia caused this mess. You deal with it." Noelle huffed Donovan's face turned grim.

Just then, a knock cat the door. "Mr. Liddell, Ms. Quigley is here." Donovan nodded. "Perfect timing. Let her in."
