"Yolanda, thank you so much for what you and Gavin did today. I'll treat both of you to dinner another day!" Zach

said. He had reflected on the dangerous situation from earlier that night at Javea Hills and couldn't help but feel

a chill run down his spine.

"Sure, just letknow the tand place."

Judging from Zach's attitude toward Gavin, Yolanda guessed they had reached ssort of agreement. She

wouldn't pry into it, though.

dating him, not raising a child, so she didn't need Gavin to report his whereabouts 24/7.

"By the way, Yolanda, are you interested in taking over a private clinic?"

"A private clinic?" Yolanda raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, it belongs to a friend's elder. Their family has been in the medical field for generations, but they've hit

sfinancial issues and want to sell the clinic.

"It's a century-old establishment, and they're hesitant to hand it over to just anyone, so my friend cto ask if

| knew anyone who might be interested.

"I know you're skilled in medicine, especially traditional medicine, so I thought I'd ask if you'd be interested."

"Taking over the clinic could work, but..."

Yolanda had the funds and management skills, but she wouldn't decide on anything without thoroughly

investigating first.

"Don't worry. If you're busy with school, you can hire a manager to help. | believe they'll continue diagnosing

patients even if the elder sells the clinic."

"I'll need to check it out first before deciding," she said.

"Of course! | wouldn't want you to take over without knowing what you're getting into. If you're not satisfied after

Since tomorrow was the weekend and she didn't have classes, she agreed. "Sounds good!"

After Zach hung up, Gavin called her. "Hello? Are you home?"

Yolanda casually grabbed a towel to dry her hair, and while chatting with him, she didn't have to think too much

about anything else.

"Yeah, the authorities seemed to have gotten wind of things early and arrived quickly."

"The authorities moved pretty fast today." Yolanda furrowed her brow.

Since it was nighttand the gunfight took place on a mountain, it was unusual for the authorities to respond

so quickly.

"Unless..."

Both Yolanda and Gavin then said simultaneously, "Someone leaked the information!"

"The people who tried to assassinate Zach wouldn't be foolish enough to alert anyone themselves, so it means a

third party must know about this." Yolanda pondered for a moment. "There might have been others nearby at

the time."

However, this person wouldn't have been close to where Zach was attacked, or else both Yolanda and Gavin

would have sensed something immediately.
