Renee turned around and their eyes met. In his eyes, she once again saw the coldness of old.

Stefan clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.
“I wouldn’t say that, but… I wouldn’t get hung up on the idea of eternal love either. Let nature take its course. We’ll
stay together if we feel like it, and we’ll break up if we feel like it. You feel the same way, don’t you?”
“No, I don’t!”
