Hospitals are breeding grounds for lies-either the patient knows what's going on and keeps it from their family, or the family hides the truth from the patient."
"Wait, you said she's seeing a psychiatrist this afternoon?” Jaliyah asked, trying to piece things together.
"A psychologist," Miranda corrected.
"That means she has a mental problem! No way. Eileen's too sharp for that. I bet she's hiding something from Bryan and leading him around by the nose," Jaliyah said, her thoughts racing. After racking her brain, she suddenly thought of something. "Could it be that she's hiding the pregnancy from Bryan?"
