"That's great!" Maria exclaimed, even though she did not believe Anastasia. ’I was afraid Mrs. Russell

might’ve influenced you. You know your dad has been worried sick about you. I heard you've been

controlling your diet, haven’t you? It seems like it's working. You look a little thinner than before.

"Although it's only a little, you're still losing weight. How can someone your size lose weight without

being hungry? Don't listen to the nonsense Mrs. Russell is telling you. Is she the one telling you not to

see the miracle doctor? From what I see, she has no good intentions! You shouldn't mix around with

her anymore!"

After everything Maria said, she got upset when she did not receive a response.

"All right, enough drinking! If you drink too much, you'll gain weight!" She snatched the glass out of

Anastasia's hand. However, Anastasia quickly dodged.

In the end, all Maria grabbed was the air. She was startled. Then Anastasia snarled, "Aunt Marie, I

know I'm fat. I've been fat ever since I was young. You've watched me grow up, and I've always been

this size.

"What's wrong with being fat? I've never gone to eat the food off your dinner table, have I? I didn't gain

this weight from eating the food you made, did I? So, why do you bother if I'm fat?"

It was different from the reaction Maria was expecting. She stood there, shocked to the core. Maria was

in a daze, not knowing how to react. She knew Anastasia had a weird temper and was usually cold to

outsiders, but she still had some respect for Maria.
