Chapter 399
Lily knew Alexander would not do such a pompous thing, so she did not know what was happening. She just
kept thinking that someone was pranking her.
The balloon floated up and formed a beautiful scene. The ladies in the crowd thought the balloons were
romantic, so they stuck their heads out the window to see who had sent them.
"Look! There's someone there!"
"Yeah! Right downstairs!"
"Is he holding flowers? Wow! What a big bouquet!"
"Let's see! It's a big bunch of red roses! Exactly ninety-nine, right? II
The exclamations came one after another, and many had already begun looking toward Jenny's office

"T-That’s..." The trio in the office was stunned. Initially, Olivia thought it was Alexander’s doing, but
when she turned to look at Lily's face, Lily was not happy at all. People were calling someone
downstairs, so she poked her head out the window to look down.
Initially, the person standing downstairs was far away, so Olivia could not see clearly. Coincidentally,
the person was looking up as she looked down. Olivia was shocked and shouted, "Nate?!"
No one would have expected Nathaniel to have arranged the whole thing. Olivia turned to look at Lily.
Sure enough, Lily seemed even more embarrassed.
"That heartless man?" Jenny did not see the man very clearly, but when she heard Olivia say his name,
she immediately understood. Jenny said, with a light snort, but not without ridicule, "What? He
wants to get back together with you?"
Olivia replied, "I think there’s some conspiracy here."
‘How long was Lily with him again? He hadn’t given her a single flower or even taken her to dinner.
Now he’s feeling romantic all of a sudden? I never know what's on his mind.’
Although Olivia thought so, it was still Lily’s private matter. Still, Olivia asked, "Are you going down to
see him?"
Lily pursed her lips and did not speak, but her attitude was apparent. Olivia hurriedly said, "If you don't
want to go down, I'll send him off for you."
Olivia was about to turn around and go downstairs, but Lily stopped her. "No need."
“So, what do you want to do?”
Lily took out her phone, dialed a number, and said casually, " Hello, I want to complain about someone littering.
He’s polluting the environment. Yes, the address is..."

Nathaniel held a large bouquet of red roses in his arms. He stood there enthusiastically, waiting for Lily.
He raised his hand and combed his short hair, which he had carefully groomed before arriving. Nathaniel also
wore a white suit and trousers, which he ironed. His body was spotless, and he vaguely remembered Lily
saying she liked the color white because it was pure and beautiful.
That was why Nathaniel deliberately wore a white suit. He thought Lily would feel touched if he remembered
her preferences.
However, Lily did not come down, even after he waited for a long while—instead, a few people in uniforms
greeted him.
They walked up to Nathaniel and said, “Hello, were you the one who released those balloons?”
Nathaniel was stunned. “Yes, that was me. What’s wrong?” He had no idea what was happening.
