Chapter 664
“I didn’t do anything! Since you’re so riled up, I was wondering if you feel dizzy or... nauseous. Do you, though?” Lily
asked with a calm expression.
The onlookers who knew nothing about the situation may even think she was asking those questions out of concern for
Henry.
Henry felt fine before Lily mentioned those symptoms, but once she said it, he felt a pain in his head and nausea. It
was a feeling he could not describe. He tried hard to keep his head clear, but the dizziness that struck him suddenly
was not something he could suppress.
In shock, he quickly released her hand. “You! What in the world have you done to me?! ”
Everyone noticed the changes in Henry’s expression. Although they had no idea about what Lily had done, it scared
them enough that they all moved back in panic, fearing that they would be affected as well.

at all. When he saw Henry staggering, he felt that he was also getting dizzy.
He quickly took a few steps back to stay far away from her. After stabilizing and calming himself down,
he finally rebuked, “Lily! What the h*11 are you doing?! ”
At this point, Jonathan was almost roaring. He could not control his anxiety and had a vague feeling
that today’s events were
headed in a direction out of his control. He had never expected that Lily, the young lady who looked
well-behaved and demure, could send chills up his spine with a smile of hers.
“Granduncle Jonathan, what are you talking about? What could I possibly do with so many people
around?” Lily shrugged her shoulders innocently. Her hands were open, facing up.
Although Lily looked harmless, everyone looked at her as if she were a monster, not daring to make a
sound. That was because they had seen the changes in Henry’s expression earlier.
“I just want to show all of you that there are a hundred ways for me to poison someone without leaving
any traces behind. There’s no need for me to use the stupidest way and leave any evidence
whatsoever.”
Lily dusted her clothes, then slowly looked up in Henry’s direction. “As for you... there’s no need for you
to be anxious. You just smelled something that would affect your appetite and sense of smell, that’s all.
You’ll be fine in a while.”
Her words sounded light, but no one dared to let their guard down. They were still looking at her in
horror.
“You... Did you poison us?” someone asked with a trembling voice.
“Uncle Max, it’s not poison. It’s just an ordinary scent. I’m sure all of you’ve seen it. I don’t need to go
through all those troubles to poison someone.”
Her words implied that such a method was too lame and that she would not use it.

it was not
with the candles. I didn’t know that you were that well-versed with poisons. In that case, who else could be the culprit
other than you?” Henry felt a little better and rebuked her immediately.
The method Lily used to prove her innocence was turned into a means of her supposed crime. He was not going to
give in and insisted on blaming her.
Lily looked up. She laughed and stretched her hand out to point at Henry. “I’ve shown mercy to you over and over
again, for Grandpa’s sake. If that’s the case...”
The sight of Lily’s gaze made Henry panic all of a sudden. He glanced in the direction of the garden where his people
were waiting. They would rush in and control the situation if things were to go wrong.
“Lily, who else could be the one to poison your grandfather other than you? Or... do you have an accomplice?”
Jonathan questioned while tapping his cane on the ground.
