handbag, stood up, and said, “ When you’re ready, send it to my email.”

Nathaniel smiled, non-committal.

Arianna took a few steps, then stopped and turned around. “Oh, I heard the company’s first perfume

will launch soon, and its production is almost complete. Don’t you want to go to the factory to check on

things?”

“Why should I? Someone has kept a close eye on it. The credit will go to him anyway, so why would I

he discovers the problem before the perfume’s official launch, wouldn’t your arrangement go to waste?”

“If he can easily discover the problem, we wouldn’t even be standing here now.” Nathanial brushed off

her concern and continued, “Don’t worry. Do you think my plan would stop at that? He can laugh as

much as he wants now but will be in deep trouble when the sh*t hits the fan.”

“Oh, yeah! ” After a pause, he thought of something funny and chuckled. “Do you have any idea what

that idi*t named the

perfume?”

“What is it?” Arianna did not care about it.

“Victory!” Nathaniel burst into laughter. When he first heard it from his staff, he did the same thing.

“Victory?” After some thought, Arianna joined him despite herself. “He certainly is confident.”

Nathaniel shook his head. “Well, the less wit, the more the courage.”

‘Damian is incredibly naive! Even if they didn’t plan for his failure and the perfume becomes a success,

does he genuinely believe he can earn a place in the Tanner Corporation and then take over the

company?

‘If it was so easy, what about the effort that Arianna had put in over the years? The money he would be

“All right. Don’t get ahead of yourself. Keep a close eye on the project for the next few days. I heard

he’s arranged for some model shoots these two days, and he’ll make an official announcement soon.

Make sure nothing goes wrong, okay?”

Nathaniel said nothing and simply gestured okay.

“Remember to send me to report!” Arianna turned and left.

After a moment of silence, Nathaniel looked at the squashed can and tossed it into the trash.

After suffering a defeat by Lily’s hands, he had learned a lesson.
