Chapter 795
Although Damian was reluctant, he had to admit Arianna was more experienced than him in dealing
with crises.
When the elevator door opened, Nathaniel was standing there.
The three of them exchanged looks, and just as Damian was about to speak, he heard Arianna say,
"Come with me!"
She called Nathaniel into her office and closed the door.
However, as Arianna did not draw the curtains, everyone could see that she was talking with a solemn
expression, presumably about the perfume crisis.
Damian continued to pace around outside. His mind was in chaos.
After much deliberation, he still thought that woman was the root of all these problems. He even
wondered if Naomi had taken money from someone else and tried to frame him.
After thinking about this a bit more, he stomped away.
Although Arianna seemed occupied talking to Nathaniel in her office, she fixed her eyes on Damian,
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtwho was outside.
When she saw him leave in a hurry, she dropped the act and signaled with her eyes that Damian had
left.
"Where do you think that idi*t is going?" Nathaniel asked casually.
"Where else can he go? With that brain of his, there are not many places he'd think of," Arianna
snorted disdainfully.
"It's your turn to make a move next.Is there anything wrong with the perfumer at your end?"
"Of course not. Everything is under control."
Clenching his fists, he continued smilingly, "We're so close to our victory.Once this is all over, you'll
soon be President Arianna."
"All right, I'm not that naive and know my place. This isn't over.Don't forget I still have a very capable
uncle."
Arianna’s eyes turned sinister at the mention of Derrick.
As long as he was still around, she would always feel uneasy. It was like a ticking time bomb.
"Isn't that uncle of yours sick and unable to do anything?" Nathaniel asked nonchalantly.
"With his current situation, I don't think he'll last long.By the way, isn't his son out of reach?"
"What are you trying to say?" Arianna frowned, looking at Nathaniel.
"Do you think your aunt will share such news with your uncle?"
He smiled sinisterly.
There were hidden meanings behind his words.
Arianna immediately understood what he meant.
"So, what you're trying to say is..."
"For an old man to attend his son's funeral would be a big blow to him."
"I guess so, but there isn't a definite answer on whether or not Benedict is still alive."
"Don't you think that having no news is news too? It's up to the people around him to decide what to
make of it."
The wide grin on Nathaniel's face made Arianna frown.
"I never realized how evil you are."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Evil? Maybe it's because you're too kind, my dear sister."
Nathaniel grinned and continued casually, "Don't forget, we're both born to the same mother."
"Shut up!"
Arianna’s frown deepened.
"Didn't I tell you not to call me that when we're in the company building? Are you trying to get us
caught?"
"Okay, okay.My bad.I won't repeat it."
He raised his hands in surrender.
After that, he turned around and said, "I'll head over to the perfumer to get things sorted out. Then we'll
just sit back and watch the show unfold."
Upon saying that, Nathaniel opened the door and left.
Only then did Arianna finally relax and plopped herself down on the chair. She looked at the pile of
documents in front of her as Nathaniel's words echoed in her ears.
"For an old man to attend his son's funeral would be a big blow to him...It's up to the people around him
to decide what to make of it.”
