Chapter 880
Although Lily did not have a great impression of Arianna, she knew Nathaniel was not a reasonable person either.
"I see. That's how it is." She appeared to have come to a sudden realization and smiled at Damian. 'The Tanner family sounds complicated."
Damian did not know how to respond to that.
"As for you..." Lily looked at Nathaniel and took a step closer to him. While looking into his eyes, she asked, "What's your role in all of this? A
helper? An accomplice? Or are you merely seeking justice for him because of the unfairness he went through?"
"I found out about this after getting the evidence, and I don't want to see so many innocent people get dragged into this. That’s all. I know
you have a deep prejudice against me, but trust me, this time. Arianna was the one who planned this."
"He’s right!" Damian nodded fervently by the side.

top of the pyramid overnight. I wouldn't have gotten criticized or thrown into prison to suffer! It’s all
because of her!'
"Perhaps you’re right.” Lily smiled. "Still, all this is your family's matter.
What does it have to do with me?" When she walked past Nathaniel, she asked again, "What does it
have to do with you?"
Damian heard it too, and his heart skipped a beat. "Yeah. What does it have to do with him?"
He turned toward Nathaniel and saw him smiling profoundly. Nathaniel said, "You’ll find out soon
enough."
Arianna still could not find Derrick's family. She had already used her influence in the dark side of
society, but it was to no avail as if his family had just disappeared into thin air.
All of Derrick's houses in Ruby City were empty. Arianna believed they would not have gone out of the
country in such a short time. If they did, she would have heard about it. Moreover, Derrick would not
leave everything behind after setting up such a big trap for her.
"How's it? Is there still no news yet?" Joseph rushed home in a hurry, asking the mother-daughter duo
as soon as he saw them.
Eloise was still checking the information as she had a clear idea of how many properties Derrick owned
and other details she had collected after all these years. Right now, she was checking to see if they
had missed anything.
Arianna was on the phone while she paced back and forth. Eloise just looked up at Joseph upon

"Derrick's weak, and it's difficult for him to move around. I'm guessing he couldn't have gotten far," Joseph contributed his opinion.
Eloise just scoffed. "Do you even know your own brother? Do you honestly think he's on the verge of dying? Let me tell you something. I
suspect this was a trap from the get-go, and he was never sick! In retrospect, how could he suddenly get so sick when he had always been
healthy? It's a trap that he set up for our entire family!"
'That's..." Joseph was so astonished that he stepped back, not expecting to hear all that. Initially, he thought everything would belong to him
as his brother was sick. No matter how much they fought or competed, it was behind closed doors and settled between the family members.
He did not expect to be in someone else’s trap when he had planned so much for this.
"Forget it. I've gathered the company's higher management and shareholders for a meeting. I want to take control of the company and find a
solution later. I'm sure he’ll show up by then!" Arianna gritted her teeth.
Although she knew this would not solve the problem from its roots, she had to take the risk because she had no other choice.
"B-But..." Joseph wanted to say something, but Arianna's phone rang again.
