Chapter 948
'The arrangement is complete, and we can gradually move into the market. There are still some difficulties for US to break through because
a few conglomerates are in control."
"Of course, it's going to be difficult! What would I need all of you for if it was simple?" Heather questioned, "Am I paying you to do nothing?"
The man did not dare to utter another word.
"Conglomerates? They're all useless. The Tanner family is in a mess now, and they're still recovering, so they won't be able to do anything.
The Lodge family had some troubles too. As for the Russell family..."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHeather smirked. "You guys don't need to worry about that. Just do as I asked."
'Yes, Ms. Riggs." The man nodded.
A look of satisfaction finally appeared on Heather's face as she picked up the cup of espresso and took
a sip. From the corner of her eyes, she caught sight of someone, making her expression darken
instantly. 'You can leave first."
"Ms. Riggs?"
"Leave now!" she ordered in a low voice and put her cup down, which got the man to stand up and
walk away immediately. When he exited the cafe door, he had a head-on encounter with Ralph.
Ralph shot him a fierce gaze, which stunned him for a moment.
Then, Ralph strode right toward Heather aggressively. "Ms. Riggs!"
Although he was addressing her politely, one could tell that he was suppressing his wrath right now.
"Mr. Russell." Heather looked up and said faintly, "What a coincidence."
Her attitude stunned Ralph because that was not how she addressed him the last time they saw each
other. She always had her head lowered, looking timid.
However, she looked confident and calm right now, totally unbothered by his appearance at the cafe.
Initially, he thought she would be all flustered and tried to explain the situation to him anxiously.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSeeing that she had found the situation usual, Ralph got even more riled up and sat opposite her. His
cold voice came a second later. "Ms. Riggs, what's the meaning of all this?"
"I don't understand what you mean." Heather frowned and looked at him, finding him a little annoying.
'I didn't expect to run into this stupid guy here. I would've brought that annoying girl with me if I had known.'
Ralph was rendered speechless for a moment by her words. He felt suffocated, like a ball of fury burning within him, choking him up.
"I thought we reached a certain consensus after our last date. Don’t you think it's inappropriate to be on a date with someone else when
you're going to get married soon?"
To be honest, Heather would have splashed coffee on his face by now if it was not for his identity.
'What? She’s going to get engaged to me soon, but she is here, on a date with another man? She's totally cheating on me!’
However, Heather just smiled calmly and looked at him with a mocking gaze as she shrugged. "Mr. Russell, won't I even have the right to
have a cup of coffee with my friend after getting engaged to you? Plus, we're not even engaged yet, are we?"
