“I won’t be here either if I’ll reject you.” He answered quietly and made me raise an

eyebrow.

“Really?” I asked quietly and was startled but slightly had hope in me.

He let out a long sigh while staring at the forest in front of us “I can’t step away from you”

He answered surprisingly.

Of all the things I thought he would say, it was something I didn’t expect to come out of

his mouth, leaving me speechless and just staring at the man or demon who was my fated

mate.

And he returned my gaze so sharply that the world seemed to stop for both of us at this

moment.
