Ellinor picked a window seat and ordered a coffee.

She had a clear view of the entrance to the Blanchet Corporation, so she could see Theo as soon as he stepped out.

She hadn’t told Theo she was coming because she wanted to surprise him and see how he’d react to her picking

him up from work.
