Chapter 1525 Ian’s Message
Cindy raised her eyebrow in surprise.
Ian had seldom taken the initiative to text her first, not to mention when they had talked about everything that they
needed to after their game together.
As such, she couldn’t think of the reason why Ian would suddenly contact her.
With a hint of curiosity and an almost invisible tinge of excitement, she tapped open the message, only to find that
he meant business in his message.
He was, in fact, serious when he said that he wanted to invest together with her earlier that day. Hence, in his text,
he told her the amount of money that he wished to invest and asked her to inform him after she had decided on
what to invest in for him to transfer the money.
Cindy checked the message’s time of receipt and found that it was sent to her when she was in the shower, which
was quite some time ago.
Unsure of whether Ian had fallen asleep, she replied with the word ‘sure’, thinking that he wouldn’t respond to her

As Naomi was still in the bathroom, Cindy thought for a moment and decided to browse Ian’s Facebook.
Although Cindy had more or less expected that he wouldn’t post anything, she still had the urge to check it out.
Nonetheless, when she tapped open his profile, she saw a new post. It wasn’t anything important—just the result of
the game that they played earlier, which he had tagged both her and Naomi.
Yet, she grinned as happiness bloomed in her heart for some unknown reason.
Then, she put down her phone and lay on the bed since she was exhausted after a busy day.
Cindy fell asleep way before Naomi exited the bathroom.
Nonetheless, her head was still running in circles; although she was busy throughout the whole day, she continued
to dream for the entire night.
She fantasized about many things—one minute, she dreamed about making big bucks together with Gary and a
minute later, she dreamed that she was really together with Ian and he transferred all the assets under his name to
her.
Her mind went back and forth between these two dreams, which caused her mood to rise up and down like a roller
coaster.
Hence, Cindy woke up late the next morning, unable to tell whether it was a dream or a reality when she opened
her eyes.
She fumbled for her phone and took a look at it, realizing that it was past the time she usually woke up because she
didn’t hear the alarm.
Cindy turned to glance at Naomi, who was sound asleep without showing any signs of waking up soon.
She took a deep breath; when she got out of bed for her morning routine, the dream she had last night continued
to replay itself in her head.
Although she couldn’t recall everything in the dream, there were some scenes that appeared the moment she tried
to remember it. For instance, she remembered how excited she was that she hugged Ian and even kissed him twice
when he transferred all the assets under his name to her. The two kisses that she gave him felt so real that she was
able to remember how it felt when she recalled it.
At that point, she suddenly paused in her thoughts and slapped her forehead. What the heck am I thinking? Why did
I have this sort of dream? This is so embarrassing.

work progress for the past two days due to some corporate issues. As a result, all of the tasks had been pushed to
this day. Therefore, she headed out after having breakfast together with Cindy.
As today was Cindy’s last day of break, she would have to return to work tomorrow.
Now that Naomi would be tied up for the whole day, Cindy could head over to Ian’s place during the day.
After Naomi left, Cindy was left all alone in the hotel. She had helped Naomi to pack her things and checked the
time before rushing out of the room when it was almost time.
With the thought that Ian might have already left for his film shoot, she took the opportunity and grabbed a cab to
his place.
She did not immediately step inside moments after she opened the door. Instead, she surveyed the living room. It
didn’t seem any different from the time when she left, which made her suspect that he hadn’t been in the living
room these few days.
Then, Cindy entered the house and closed the door behind her. The next thing she took notice of was the door to
Ian’s room, which was left ajar to allow ventilation.
She went over to take a look inside, only to see that his room was clean and neat—just like him.
