Chapter 1562 Be Mindful of Ian
Ian shook his head. “Don’t say anything for now. I’ve talked to the company earlier, but we’re afraid that some
people would create more topics if you were to come forward. Let’s wait and see since the situation now is in our
favor.”
Seeing that the situation had become more favorable, Naomi felt relieved. She glanced at the time before she rose
to her full height. “Alright, then. I’ll make a move if there’s nothing else. Jeez, this girl really makes me worry.”
Cindy chuckled and she rose as well to hug Naomi’s arm. “I’m fine. I’ve always been quite fortunate. Rest assured
and don’t be worried about me.”
Naomi sighed. “Silly girl, how are you going to defeat others if you join the entertainment circle?”
In fact, what Naomi said was true and Cindy was well aware of her own capabilities. As Ian’s assistant, she

Cindy walked Naomi out of the door. Ian had intended to rise to his full height and follow along, but Naomi stopped
him. “Cindy can show me out since the entrance of the neighborhood isn’t that far. You should stay and chill with
Mrs. Morgan.”
Upon hearing her words, he understood that she probably would like to have a few words with Cindy in private.
Therefore, he didn’t persist. After bidding her goodbye, he returned to take a seat on the couch while Cindy and
Naomi had a brief chat downstairs.
Cindy, in fact, had long known what Naomi wanted to tell her—Naomi wanted her to be more mindful when it came
to matters that involved Ian. Naomi really cares for me, she thought. She hugged Naomi and mumbled in a cute
voice, “I always know that you treat me the best.”
Naomi stroked Cindy’s hair. “You are such an idiot by being too honest and not on guard against anyone. Listen,
after today’s incident, you have to be more mindful of Ian. Do you understand?”
“Okay, I understand.” Cindy nodded meekly. “I will be more alert in the future.”
Yet, Naomi sighed. “I know that although you are promising me without any hesitation, it’ll be difficult for you to do
it.”
Upon hearing that, Cindy chuckled and remained silent.
After casting a glance at the neighborhood, Naomi said, “Alright. It’s getting dark. You should head back. Don’t let
the mother and son talk about you behind your back.” She then added, “Speaking of which, in regards to the
netizen who claimed that he wanted to search for the security footage, you have to pay more attention to this
matter. Keep watch on whether the security footage is found and check if the footage conforms to what Ian has
said. You have to be careful in case Mrs. Morgan has lied to help him.”
“Roger that.” Cindy hummed in agreement. “I understand.”
At this moment, a cab happened to pass by the gates and she raised her hand to hail the cab. After Naomi entered
the vehicle, Cindy spoke through the car window, “Give me a call when you arrive at the hotel.”

I barely had a few calm, peaceful days before all the mess is back again. Before this, I thought that I had a

mumbled inwardly before heading back a moment later.
When Cindy arrived home, Aurora had already left and Ian wasn’t in the living room. He probably was in his room
since the door was shut.
Cindy surveyed the area and failed to find something to do, so she quickly went to wash up before she returned to
her room. As there hadn’t been any movement outside the door the entire time, she reckoned that Ian hadn’t left
his room. Since she was unable to fall asleep, she took her phone out again.
As a matter of fact, Yulia had made a mistake this time. Her statement that was posted moments after Cindy had
caused the netizens to leave dreadful comments—where almost all of them addressed Yulia as a pretentious b*tch.
