Chapter 1897 The Bite Mark on Her Neck
Still, it seemed like Aurora was much more anxious compared to Cindy and Ian now. Then, Cindy recalled how she
used to think that Aurora was a hard person to deal with.
When Aurora first came over, she was always well-dressed and liked to give others disdainful looks.
Nevertheless, she could be adorable at times and was really nice to talk to. Truthfully, her personality was soft as
well.
Hence, it was really important to not judge a person by their looks and only make a decision after getting along with
them.
The two of them walked around for quite a while until Ian’s call came in when the sky darkened.
He probably got bored staying at home, so he gave Cindy a call and complained, “Are you two alright? Why aren’t
you guys home yet? Did you guys run into some cute guy outside?”

ran into a super hot guy at the park just now, and I’m really itching to hook up with him now.”
Ian harrumphed before he chuckled evilly. “Let’s have a talk in bed when you come back so you can show me how
eager you were.”
Fortunately, Cindy wasn’t on loudspeaker, so Aurora couldn’t hear the details of their conversation.
Right then, she pursed her lips. “That’s enough. We are going back now, so stop rushing us. You’re already a grown-
up, so why would you still want other people to accompany you?”
At this moment, Ian probably stretched as his voice sounded really lazy. “Well, I feel empty without you by my side. I
can’t even imagine what it would be like if I had to go on set.”
Cindy couldn’t imagine that as well because she and Ian had been too clingy with each other by doing everything
together and staying together. It was for sure that they wouldn’t be used to it if they were to get separated.
Cindy knew she would surely feel lost after she started working in the future, seeing that Ian couldn’t be by her side
any longer.
Sometimes, she couldn't help but feel that it was terrible to rely on someone else, as she had to experience life-
changing shifts after that person let go of her one day.
Cindy and Aurora started heading back home. However, Aurora didn’t return to Ian and Cindy’s place this time as
she left to return to her place.
At the same time, Cindy was humming softly when she got home. While she was entering the password to the door,
the door suddenly opened with a small crack before a hand reached out from the inside of the house to pull her in.
Then, the door slammed shut with a loud bang.
Before Cindy could come back to her senses, she was already pressed against the wall by Ian.
Right then, Ian’s body was pressed against hers as he whispered in her ear, “So, you met a hot guy?”
Cindy suppressed her urge to laugh before she retorted stubbornly, “I ran into a hot guy. He’s hotter than you, too.
After their intimate session during the afternoon, Cindy didn’t believe that Ian still had the stamina to do it again,

Immediately, Cindy winced before she quickly pushed Ian away. “Did you do that on purpose?”
Then, she quickly ran toward the washroom while Ian stood at the entrance of the house and laughed as he turned
around to see Cindy’s retreating figure. “I shall see which good-looking men would still dare to hit on you after
seeing that mark on your neck.”
At the same time, Cindy undid the button on the collar of her shirt in front of the mirror in the washroom before
checking the bite mark on her neck.
This man really wasn’t being merciful with his bite! The mark literally showed up immediately after he bit me!
She felt like crying because the other marks on her neck still hadn’t disappeared yet, but Ian added a new mark
again at such an obvious place.

Cindy came out of the washroom in a huff to see Ian standing nearby the door and grinning at her.
How could she not get pissed off at the sight of that?
