Chapter 91 Hayley listened to Cyrus with a look of pure envy in her eyes.

Caleb shook his head cautiously. "So far, we still haven't found any trace of her." Cyrus felt his heart sink. So, Nancy had left him for good. She had decided to cut him out of her life entirely.

Hayley wrapped an arm around Cyrus's. "Don't worry, Cyrus. The world's a big place. We'll find Nancy. Maybe she needs stto cool off. She probably thinks there's something between you and me." Cyrus snapped back to reality, nodding eagerly. "You're right. Nancy must have misunderstood how I feel about you. That's why she got so upset when she overheard my apology." As Hayley watched Cyrus's obsessive behavior, an uneasy feeling settled in her stomach.

Then she heard Cyrus say with a stern face, "I have to send you away. If Nancy can't see you, she'll forgive me." Hayley was shocked. "Cyrus, what about the baby?" "I'll ensure someone takes care of you, Hayley. But you have to leave." His voice was firm, the result of days of reflection. Cyrus believed his recent neglect was the reason Nancy had left.

Nancy would forgive him if Hayley were out of the picture. Besides, he never had feelings for Hayley. She was just a fling.

Hayley was stunned, tears welling up in her eyes. "Cyrus..." Before she could finish, Cyrus's icy gaze cut her off, and her voice faded into silence. Reluctantly, she conceded, "Alright, I understand." "That's good. Don't worry. I won't leave you high and dry," Cyrus said before striding toward his car, not looking back at Hayley's pale face.

The car door slammed shut.

Cyrus nodded slightly to Caleb. "Let's go home." He returned to the hhe shared with Nancy. From then on, he would attend no social gatherings. He needed to give Nancy the security she deserved.

Left behind, Hayley stamped her foot in frustration. Leave? That was not happening! She had no intention of going anywhere.

Half an hour later, Cyrus returned to the empty house that seemed no one had lived for ages, with almost all of Nancy's belongings gone. A wave of unspeakable sadness washed over him.

He rushed to their bedroom, clutching one of the few photos of Nancy, and lay in the spot where she used to sleep, letting his tears flow freely. Was this how Nancy felt sleeping alone while he was with Hayley? He had made a mistake, a terrible mistake. He was determined to find Nancy and apologize. She must be upset over Hayley, not seriously wanting to leave him. After all, they were deeply in love. But Cyrus's thoughts couldn't reach Nancy.

Early the following morning, "Judson, you remember what I said last night, right?" Nancy asked, slipping on her shoes and glancing at the man in the apron.

Judson nodded earnestly. "Nancy, I won't go out alone. You can count on that."

"Right, with your amnesia and injuries, you should estat home."" Glancing at her watch, Nancy said, "I need to go." After that, she grabbed her briefcase and stepped out the door.

Judson kept his eyes on her as she left, not looking away until she was completely out of sight. Then he picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello?" A sleepy voice answered the phone, still groggy with sleep.
