Gerald was smiling as he said that while looking at Yume.

“The truth? Hahaha! Even if that’s the case, I won’t allow it to happen! I’ll just kill him when I see him again to avoid
any future complications then! Once I’m done with that, I’ll return to burn down your church!”
Following that, she had descended the mountain in a huff, feeling greatly angered and frustrated as she made her
way for the Minshall family’s ancestral mines.
