The Supreme God of Martial Arts
Chapter 371 Outdoing All The Martial ArtistsAustin felt that the globe of light in his elixir field had grown in size after having absorbed senergy off the Purple Blazing Gas Formula. He could feel the change even though it had expanded only a little.
‘Looks like all the masculine energy is actually good for this globe of light because it is condensed by my body's masculine vital energy.
So that must mean that my cultivation base of vital energy will be more splendid if the globe of light is bigger and contains more energy.
And because taking a beating helpsimprove my cultivation base of vital energy, fine! I'll take this opportunity and get something out of it!" Austin thought to himself before turning aggressively to Hasson. "Is that all you've got?" he taunted him. "Secret skill? It's small. It's nothing! I think I'll just stand here and let you beat me. Let's see what you can do," Austin said tauntingly, trying to goad Hasson into beating him.
Sure enough, Hasson fell for it. He was initially shocked at Austin's words, but soon, his face becgrim.
He sneered, "My Purple Blazing Gas Formula is a secret skill that the Peripatetic Sect prides itself on. Its power is strong enough to reduce mountains and seas to ashes. | don't believe you can survive it!" A loud, deep rumble followed Hasson's words.
He was stretching out his hands, releasing giant palms of purple air in quick succession that slapped heavily against where Austin stood.
The slaps caused a thermal wave that caused the temperature to skyrocket.
Boom! Boom! Boom!. .
The explosion continued to sound. Mushroom-like clouds appeared in the sky around Austin, swallowing him up so that people lost sight of him.
The air reeked with the acrid smell of something burning. The thermal wave was heavily overwhelming, causing everyone present to bathe in sweat.
A long tpassed but the water vapor and white smoke generated after the explosion had not yet dissipated and nobody had the courage to check on what was happening.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHasson stared at the mist, scared that he would see Austin walking out with a cocky grin on his face.
His chest heaved with every breath he took as he waited. But there was still no sign of anyone.
"The guy must be dead this time." "I think so. It would be so incredible otherwise!" The spectators whispered to each other.
After the smoke had gradually rolled away, the shadow of a man revealed him, prostrate on the floor of the hall.
Shaped like a piece of scorched wood and lying unconscious on the floor was Austin.
"Son of a bitch! When you dared to sass me, | thought you might actually be capable of something. But it turns out all you could do is just use brute force. You thought getting funny withwould be a good idea, but all it shows is that you're really heedless of consequences," Hasson laughed, relieved as he saw Austin lying on the ground. He had obviously regained his overbearing confidence.
"As arrogant as he is, he has finally met his end." "In my opinion, | think he has really good strength. But he unfortunately offended Hasson and that's never a good idea." "Yeah. | agree with you. He can't be weak since he is able to slay a martial artist who is at the medium stage of Earth Realm in one shot. It's a pity that the young man is now dead." The martial artists watching the battle commented and gossiped.
"Alas!" sighed Reuben. "It is so unexpected that Austin should lose to Hasson!" Seeing the result of the battle, he shook his head helplessly, with a bit of disappointment in his eyes. He had high hopes for Austin, thinking that with Austin's strength, he should be able to qualify for entering the Mysterious Nether World. But it seemed that he had overestimated his strength.
“Ught® A fit of coughing sounded around the hall. It wasn't loud, but it was enough to attract the attention of everyone present.
Following the voice, they were surprised to see Austin coughing and bracing himself off the ground.
"The Purple Blazing Gas Formula certainly deserves to be revered because its power is really awesome. It is a pity, though, because you've only learned the rudiments of the secret skill and you aren't proficient in the skill at alll" said Austin, as he pushed himself off the ground and flicked the ashes off his body. Moments ago, he had been on the ground, scorched and smoking. But now, he was up and standing.
His sardonic eyes fixed on Hasson.
Several rounds of Purple Blazing Gas Formula attacks had done nothing to him. He was still alive! Everyone in the hall was in deep shock, their eyes popping out of their sockets.
"Oh good God!" Hasson groaned.
He looked at Austin as if he was seeing the devil, frightened. He tried to say something but it felt like something was choking him and all he could get out was a purr.
"Blargh!" Austin vomited a mouthful of blood.
The slaps that he had just suffered had been powerful enough to bring him quite a bit of pain and even sexternal injuries. But as he had expected, the globe of light in his elixir field had increased by the size of a thumb after having absorbed a lot of masculine energy.
He looked up at Hasson and said, "I'll still take it seriously, though. Ready to be knocked off." As he finished talking, he disappeared in a flash and a moment later, he appeared in front of Hasson's shocked face.
He then clenched a fist, concentrating on collecting 10000 pounds of strength in it. The powerful blow he let loose curved through the air, crackling as it went.
"Nol" Hasson roared as he saw the fist zooming towards him. Depression and horror had replaced his usual arrogance.
Moments later, the fist struck Hasson heavily on the chest with a loud slam and sent him flipping over a few feet away.
When it cto physical strength and toughness, Hasson was no match for Austin, and at the moment, he was unable to fight Austin's attack.
"Bang!" Austin struck another blow while Hasson was still mid-air.
And before Hasson fell to the ground, Austin held out his right leg, making it glide through the air at lightning speed, and kicked Hasson.
"Bang!" With an ear-splitting sound, Hasson was kicked at like a sandbag and broke through the wall before he finally fell to the ground in the garden outside.
"Loser!" Austin said, smirking, flexing his fingers.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe young men associated with Hasson wanted to beat Austin up, but his power had instilled a fear in them that prevented them from doing so. All they could do was step forward to help Hasson off the ground.
Dead silence ensued.
Austin stood in the middle of the hall, with an aura of arrogance around him. His gaze swept across the spectators, but no one dared meet his eyes. Their fear made them hold their tongues.
"Anybody else who isn't happy withand wants to driveaway? Stand up now. I'll give you the chance to beat me. And then, I'll send you straight to hell," Austin's cold voice broke the silence.
Earlier, Hasson had negotiated with syoung martial artists who had a high cultivation base. They had plotted to teach Austin a lesson at the banquet hall, with the hope that this would deter the other young martial artists and drive them away.
But right now, the ones who had plotted knew very clearly that they were now facing a tough opponent.
Nobody had expected things to go like this.
Among them was a young man in black, carrying a sword wrapped in black cloth on his back. He looked at Austin with obvious hatred that was maniacal and murderous. His anger caused his sword intent to surge around him.
But he realized this soon enough and brought it back in control. He didn't volunteer.
A dark-skinned young man also glared fiercely at Austin, but he too didn't cforward.
A young man in white, hands behind his back, looked Austin up and down.
A young man with a full forehead and a Roman nose, who exuded superiority, also merely stared coldly at Austin but didn't take any action.
A pretty, fair young girl peeped curiously at Austin, her eyes twinkling in ill-concealed delight.
These martial artists were the strongest of the lot, but they didn't dare challenge Austin, preferring to stay where they were to keep their self-esteem intact. . . .
