When the Reincarnation Palace's leader didn't know what to do to Ravi, she looked around her and suddenly heard Austin's voice.
Elated, she ran towards him immediately.
"Austin, how's everything going here?" she greeted with a bright smile.
"Last time, didn't you say that you were targeted by the darkness race? | was so worried when you said that.
What happened then? Tell me.
Did you get rid of them already? Are you safe now?"
She looked at Austin and bombarded him with her questions.
She had traveled with Austin for a long tnow, so she naturally preferred to stay with Austin than be with Ravi.
"Humph!"
Seeing that the Reincarnation Palace's leader cared so much about Austin, Ravi let out a sullen snort. His face was gloomy, and his
eyes sparked with anger. He really didn't like Austin at all.
At the sight of Austin, Diego, Tanya, and several other successors of the reincarnation race immediately walked up to him.
"How have you been? We were worried.
Did you shake them off? Is the coast clear now?"
Diego asked the squestions as the Reincarnation Palace's leader.
Since Austin was also a successor of the reincarnation race, they had seen him as their companion and were also concerned with
him. Besides that, he was also a powerful ally, so they highly regarded him.
The only exception were Ravi and Jadiel as they stood still as if they didn't see Austin at all.
"It's fine now; there's no need to worry.
I've already gotten rid of the darkness race. So, we're safe for the meantime,"
Austin replied to their inquiry.
"Humph! You really didn't think this through, did you?
Didn't you think about what will happen next? Now that you have been targeted by the darkness race, you shouldn't have come
back to us again.
You might have escaped them for the meantime, but the creatures of the darkness race are incredibly powerful and capable.
Since they already have their eyes on you, | don't think you can get rid of them so easily.
Taking that into account, you still had the guts to cback to us. Didn't you realize that you will just get the rest of us in trouble?
You're such a pain in the ass.
You'd better leave here as soon as possible, so you won't put us in any grave danger.
You are not welchere anymore,"
Ravi firmly said as he frowned at Austin.
"Ha-ha! You traitor, | am really impressed! | must admit that | really admire your gut!
When we were in the Cliff Chaotic Sea back then, who was the one who turned and betrayed us? It was you! What you did was
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtextremely despicable! You're the one who shouldn't be welcomed here!
Now you're back again here to meet us, and you don't even show any hint of guilt. Instead, you are being so aggressive. Have you
forgotten that already? Do | need to remind you of what you did? You're unbelievably ridiculous!
I've never met such a shameless person like you in my whole life. You disgust me, really," the chaotic sky-devouring beast
exclaimed in anger and frustration.
Ravi made him feel sick to the core, so he couldn't hide his aversion towards him.
"Huh? What in the world are you talking about?"
Ravi roared back at the chaotic sky-devouring beast as the latter's words got a hold of his nerves.
"Stop fighting the both of you! Let's sort this out properly.
Austin, Ravi sensed a fragment of the road of reincarnation in this space sea, so he brought us here.
Since you are already here, maybe we can look for it together,"
the Reincarnation Palace's leader said.
"Huh. So, he got to you first and then brought you here, right?" Austin asked with a sneer on the corner of his lips.
He couldn't believe that Ravi had the guts to show his face to them again.
"Yes, that's right.
Since we are all the successors of the reincarnation race, we should let the past go. There's only a few of us left.
We must unite together and find the rest of the fragments of the road of reincarnation,"
the Reincarnation Palace's leader answered.
"Humph! If he really took you to the fragment of the road of reincarnation, | wouldn't make things difficult for him at all. After all,
that's our collective goal, isn't it?
But do you really think that that is his goal? | don't believe that he brought you here for the fragment.
What if it's a trap that he deliberately set up?"
Austin questioned Ravi's intentions.
Hearing Austin's words, Ravi immediately went ballistic.
"Austin, what stupid nonsense are you talking about? | brought them here to look for the fragment of the road of reincarnation. |
did for this for the cause of our reincarnation race! So, | don't get where you're coming from at all!
How dare you frme? Especially now that tis of the essence and all of us should be working together!
If you don't believe me, then get the hell out of here. No one's stopping you.
| found that fragment already and it has nothing to do with you, so leave.
| don't want somebody like you to join the search for the fragment," he yelled at Austin emotionally.
He was really fuming, angered by Austin's accusations.
'Did he find something out?’
Ravi immediately wondered.
"Austin, we are all the successors of the reincarnation race. You shouldn't suspect him like this. It's unfair for him.
If you don't trust him, then just don't follow us. It's that simple.
No one's forcing you to join us anyway,"
Jadiel suddenly cut in.
"Austin, do you really think that this is a trap?"
Austin's words left the Reincarnation Palace's leader in surprise.
Having been with Austin for a long time, she knew that Austin wouldn't rashly say those words without any reason.
"Austin, did you find something?" Diego immediately asked.
He had a high regard for Austin, and he trusted him, so he didn't think Austin would make all that up just to spite Ravi.
"I'm telling you already; this is a trap,"
Austin firmly said as he rested his eyes on Ravi.
"Austin, why are you saying that it's a trap? There is a fragment of the road of reincarnation in this space sea. I'm telling you the
truth.
| swear that | am not lying,"
Ravi retorted back.
"lI am aware that there is indeed a fragment here,"
Austin bluntly said.
"In that case, why are you saying it's a trap? | don't get you.
Didn't you think that what you just said doesn't make any sense at all?"
Jadiel sarcastically said.
"That fragment of road of reincarnation is a bait for us. They used it to trick you into falling into their trap,"
Austin said with a sneer, angrily staring at Ravi with his sharp eyes.
‘Damn it! He knows!
How did he find out about this?"
With that, a hint of panic flashed through Ravi's eyes.
"Austin, wait, are you saying that someone used that fragment to lure us here?"
Tanya asked as she understood what Austin meant.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying."
Austin nodded in confirmation.
"Austin, don't try to turn us against each other. You're just causing trouble here.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm
Now if you think it's a trap, you can just get your ass out of here.
But don't get in our way, do you understand?
We must still collect that fragment. As you know, this matters a lot to our reincarnation race. So, you'd better not get in our way,"
Ravi roared at Austin, aware that he had seen through his plot already.
He was carefully planning in his head how he could get past this obstacle.
"Well, let's get out of here already.
Forget about him. He could go on his own way.
He has already been targeted by the darkness race anyway. It would be dangerous if we stay with him longer," Ravi said as he
turned to the successors of the reincarnation race.
Then he turned around and immediately walked forward.
"Who would possibly draw us here for no reason?"
Tanya curiously asked with arched eyebrows.
"Ah! | get it now!
Austin, do you mean that the darkness race is using the fragment of the road of reincarnation to lure us here and then attack us?"
Tanya suddenly screamed as she finally realized what Austin was trying to say.
Immediately, all of them trembled in shock except for Ravi, Austin, and the chaotic sky-devouring beast.
It was not a secret anymore that the darkness race had sent a lot of men to hunt down the successors of the reincarnation race.
So, such a possibility couldn't be ruled out. In fact, they took that possibility seriously since they didn't want to fall into the hands
of the darkness race.
Even Jadiel began to hesitate.
Noticing that things were going south, Ravi secretly sent a message through a Contact Jade Slip in his hand.
"Austin, you are really talking nonsense.
We have been in this space sea for so long now.
If there were really creatures of the darkness race here, they would have already cto us. It would be unlikely of them to wait
when they could easily attack us.
But there is no sign of them here, not even a small hint.
So, how could it be possible that they are lurking nearby?
Everyone should just stop listening to Austin's nonsense.
We'd better hurry up and collect that fragment immediately,"
Ravi said after he finally sent the message.
"No, we can't rule out this possibility. It makes sense since it already happened before.
We should be extremely careful.
After all, the darkness race really is after us,"
Tanya said.
