After sitting quietly for a few minutes, | lay on the bed.
| tilted my head to look at Theo, asking in a somewhat hoarse voice, "Must we have a child of our own, Theo?"
He seemed to have heardyet not at the stime. He moved his curled eyelashes faintly and stopped
moving.
He indeed had too much to drink.
The next day, the early morning sunlight shone through the already yellowing leaves and hit the ground. It
formed dappled shadows.
Theo wokeup, and 1 opened my eyes to see a handsface with a smile. He was such an eye candy that
he putin a good mood early in the morning.
| rubbed my eyes and asked with concern," Does your head hurt?"

Maybe it was because | had just woken up, my throat was still hoarse.
Theo took the glass of water from the bedside table. "Not really. Drink swater."
Theo moved closer toand asked in a deep, low voice, "Were you the one who removed my shirt last night?"
"Who else would have helped you undress?" | was a little confused, not knowing why he would askthis
question. Theo let out an ambiguous smile.
My gaze moved down from his head. On his robust body, only a pair of light blue boxer shorts were seen.
He did not actually think that we...
| blushed and quickly explained, "Don't think too much. Nothing happened between us. | didn't do anything to
you. You
"Why don't you do something tonow, huh?" Theo cutoff, staring atwith a pair of pitch-black eyes
that were as deep as the bottom of the sea.
| widened my eyes and was just about to curse when he pinneddown and sealed my mouth, not givinga
chance to refuse.
Theo's energy early in the morning was more abundant than | imagined.
In the end, | fell asleep again in exhaustion. When | woke up again and saw Theo coming out of the bathroom,
looking like he was in high spirits, | was infuriated. "Go to the company with me?" he asked with a smile.
| lay on the bed and looked at him with dissatisfaction. "You've torturedand now you wantto go to the
company with you? Don't you think you're too inhumane?" "Cto work with me. You don't need to do
anything for me. Just stay where | can see you."
"I don't want to." My mouth twitched. "I'm going back to the Louises' place to take Munchkin to the hospital.

you too, then."
"No, I'll just take him to the hospital to get it checked. It's probably not serious. You should go to work. There are
plenty of things waiting for you to handle. Don't worry about the things here." Grant Corporation was not doing
very well at all. Besides, | had a feeling that something else was going on. A bad feeling kept tugging at me. It
was better for him to put more of his attention on work. Theo did not insist and nodded to agree.
"In that case, when you chfrom the hospital-"
Before Theo could finish his sentence, his phone rang.
| told him to answer his phone. He picked up his phone from the bedside table and bent down to kiss my
forehead before going to the balcony to answer it.
| got up and went to the bathroom. There were the clothes he changed out of in the bathroom. After washing up, ©
| took the clothes to the laundry room.
