Solomon shook his head again, refusing to lettake the risk.
Seeing this, Tory said, "Neither of us is fit to go in. She's a woman, so the other party won't be too vigilant. Even
if they find out about her identity, Jordan won't do anything to her either. He won't offend so many parties at
once, so don't worry."
Solomon thought about it seriously and handedthe earpiece, reminding me,' We'll be on standby out here. If
you find yourself in even a little bit of danger, then scream out loud. We'll bring our men with us and barge in to
save you."
| nodded. "Okay."
Since it was decided, Tory called his subordinate and ordered them to deliver sfood.
His subordinates were quick to act. They brought a set meal and a bag of fruits in less than ten minutes.
| took the bags and got ready to go in.
"Be ever vigilant. If you sense danger, inform us immediately." Tory rarely said things like that.

"Okay."
| carried the things and walked to the entrance of the factory. There were two muscular guys at the gate. When
they saw that | was approaching, they immediately stopped me. "You can't just walk in here. Go back where you
cfrom."
| did not stop in my tracks and kept walking until | was in front of them. | squeezed my voice and said in a
shrewish voice, "Why are there suddenly two guards at the gate? My husband has been working here for five
years but I've never seen anyone guarding the gate to stop people from going in.
"Who are you? Don't tellyou're bad guys? | thought so. That's why my man isn't heven when it's so late.
It turns out you're standing at the door to stop him from going home, eh? Hurry up and letin. | need to see
my hubby.
TH call the cops and ask them to check what you're up to here. This is a factory, not a prison. How can you stop
As | said that, | fished out my phone and was ready to call the cops.
One of the muscular guys snatched my phone away. "I should be the one asking who you are. What are you
doing here so late at night?"
"Are you nuts? Giveback my phone!"
| furiously roared. "Did | say all of that for nothing? My man works here. It's late and he isn't hyet. I'm
checking up on him to see what's going on. Do you understand now?
"Giveback my phone or I'll go to the police station to report you for robbery and insult."
The two muscular guys exchanged glances before looking atand asking unsurely," Are you really here to see
your man?"
| raised the bag in my hand and snapped," Are both your ears and eyes not working anymore? Why are you even
guarding the gate like this?
"I'm worried about my man. My heart aches when he misses a meal. Why else would | cto such a remote
place so late at night to be insulted by you?"
One of the guys thought about it and looked at the other, saying, "Let her in. There are ten workers working
overtand they'll probably stay till late. Their family members probably weren't informed. A woman like her
can't possibly raise any waves. It's too noisy to have her clamoring about here."
"Fine."

The two of them agreed and returned my phone to me.
| took my phone and cursed them with a bit of slang.
Most of the workers working in the factory were from other places. It would seem more convincing if | spoke with
slang.
When | entered the factory, | searched all over the place.
Like what the two guards at the gate said, the lights in one of the buildings were on and there were probably
people working in there. There was also another building without a single light on. There was probably no one in

Most importantly, no one was guarding outside this building. | walked farther inside and saw a building with two
floors lit up and someone guarding the door.
This should be it. | observed for a moment. It would be impossible to go straight in, so | could only think of
another way.
There was a light on the farthest edge of the first floor. | waited for a moment next to a corner of the wall for a «
while. When nothing happened, | tilted my head and took a glance.
