When I was done putting on the lipstick, he looked atin the mirror and said with a smile, "You look great." I smiled slightly and got up to go to the cloakroom.

When I went downstairs, Caroline had just finished making lunch.

Theo had not eaten yet, but after having just sat down and taken a few bites, his phone rang.

His phone was right beside him and I could see who was calling him after a glance.

It was Keith, so it could only mean that there were urgent matters in the company waiting for him to handle.

Theo picked up the phone and said blandly, "I have to take this." Having said that, he walked to the door of the dining room and answered the call.

There were a lot of jargon coming out of his mouth, which I could not fully comprehend. 1 However, there was one thing I was certain of. He was planning to acquire Zimmer Corporations. He was not going to take the risk and annex it in one go. It was a safe and gradual annexation.

I looked at the food on my plate and lost my appetite. When I got up, the chair shifted and made a rather loud noise.
