The only reason why he was so polite toward Skylar was because he was terrified of him. However,
this did not mean that he was a complete pushover that would submit to anyone’s whims. He was
offended by Clarrisa’s audacity to question him earlier. He had no reason to answer to her. Besides, if
she was unhappy with Skylar, she should just deal with him herself, she should just leave him out of
her mess.
