When the elevator reached the floor of her office, Luca walked out and noticed that the
assistant's office was empty.
She clocked in before entering her office and putting on her lab coat. Then, she entered
the laboratory.
The researchers all looked up when they heard the door open.

never got the chance to meet them. Plus, she usually went straight home after work, so
she never stayed at the office for too long.
"Dr. Craw, the research professors weren't called to join the meeting," said Rhett.
Although they did not mention the purpose of the meeting, Rhett could guess that it was
probably to discuss Luke and Luca's news.
Thus, Luca did not need to be at this meeting.
When Luca heard that, she gave a deadpan nod and sat back down to continue working.

After leaving the office floor, a researcher said, "Good thing Dr. Craw didn't insist on
joining the meeting, or else the general manager would have nothing to talk about..."
