Daphne hadn't expected him to turn her down so bluntly. As she thought about what had just happened between him and Yvette, her nails dug into her palm.
Suppressing her displeasure, she turned to Yvette and asked, "Then, would you be able to come, Yvvy? It just so happens that our college reunion is right after the press conference.
