While this was going down, Rachel was finishing doing the dishes. Her hands were full of sod as the
familiar notification pinged.
“Elisa! Get your ass here!” She flung the dish towel, “Your aunt posted again!”
The lady almost squealed in excitement.
Elisa sprinted and grabbed her phone.
‘Trending: Mrs. Benett’s speech.’
She put it on fullscreen.
The video played, and there was Rose.
Rose Benett: ‘Dear watchers, my name is Rose Benett. I’m the wife of Norman Benett, the president of
Benett Group, and the mother of a victim, Linda Benett.’

Rachel was struck with an epiphany.
“There’s no denying her anger, but this is an act of desperation. I mean, this is related to the company.”
She adjusted her apron, “Both the Benett and Wickam families are always motivated by corporal
politics. This shows that the Benett Group is vulnerable now.”

The woman knew Elisa was on the brink of figuring out Rose’s motive.
Elisa smiled, “Rose did this all in order to renew her relationship with the Wickam family so that the
Wickam family had no choice but to marry Linda.”
“But it’s tense now, if…even if Gareth is willing, and the whole family agrees, Linda won’t have a say in
any of the family’s assets.”
“What is the purpose of the Benetts uproar now? Furthermore, the Wickams have every right to play
dirty since the Benetts did it first.”
Elisa glowered, “They believe that wealth, position, and power are all that’s left to win. What else? I fear
my uncle will go with all means to get his prize.” Elisa paused with that thought on how that man was
capable of murdering his own brother.
