Elisa pursed her lips. "Mr. Wickam, your behavior makes me think you're unwilling to let me go. Have
you completely fallen for me? Such behavior is unseemly."
Gareth's expression turned intimidatingly cold. He glared at Elisa and said, "Cancel your collaboration
with Will and work with me. I will not treat you like how I did before."
"Sorry, I began collaborating with Will first, but you snatched it. Therefore, I owe it to Will to work on this

Elisa paused and decided not to reveal any more of the matter.
She had no desire to work with Gareth ever again.

help him answer it." Rachel sounded curious. "Do you wish to talk to Uncle James about something?"
Elisa did not answer her question but asked softly, "Is it okay for me to come over now?"
"Sure, you can come over."
"Okay."
Elisa hung up and went downstairs.
She saw Will's car as soon as she reached there.
Aubrey's expression changed. D*mn it! Gareth messed up my thoughts until I forgot Will was still here.
Her eyes flickered. As she was hesitating, the front passenger window suddenly rolled down. Elisa saw
Will smiling at her.
"You're finally here. Hop on."
Elisa pursed her lips before heading to the front passenger seat.
Will got out of the car and opened the door for her. Elisa got in but remained silent. Her expression
seemed conflicted.
Then, Will closed the door and went to the driver's seat to start the car.

Elisa recited the address to him.
Will arched his eyebrows. "Are you going to talk to them this soon?"

Will did not say anything but sped to James' house.
Once they arrived, Elisa glanced at Will and said, "Rachel is there. I can go home with her later. You
don't have to wait for me. I don't want to keep troubling you."
Will narrowed his eyes. However, he did not argue with her but smiled. "Sure, stay safe."
"Thank you." Elisa nodded and got out of the car.
Will watched her walk into the house. His eyes gradually darkened with thoughts.
He only drove the car away after she had gone in.
